Translating Covid-19 into visual stories

Reuters chooses to focus on one of the most affected regions of northern Italy, where I live. I chose to talk about this article not so much for the data presented or for the visualization but for the incredible use of the timer on the landing page. Much more empathetic than any view / photo.
