The Milanese exhibition reasoned with farsightedness on the nascent consumer society, but as innovative as it was, it was almost impossible to visit due to its occupation, which delayed its opening. Half a century later, we reconstruct the events that made the XIV Triennale a turning point for design and architecture in Italy.
